TBR organizer

A home for your to-be-read pile

A TBR list tends to grow faster than anyone can read it, and that's fine. ShelfGarden helps you see what's on it, group it the way you think about it, and find a book when you're ready for one.

Ways to sort out a TBR

TBR, Next Up and Someday

Three built-in places for books you haven't read: the general pile, the few you're likely to pick up soon, and the ones you might never get to.

Your own shelves

Make shelves for anything, like a book club, summer reads or books a friend lent you. A book can sit on several at once.

Tags

Add tags such as a mood or a trope, then filter your library by them.

Interest level

Mark how keen you are on each book from 0 to 5, then sort by most anticipated.

Recommendation count

When the same book turns up in more than one screenshot, ShelfGarden counts it. Sort by most recommended to see which ones keep coming up.

Search

Search by title or author across every shelf, and filter by status, genre, tag or how a book was added.

Sort options

Your own drag-and-drop order is saved separately, so trying another sort never loses it.

Saving recommendations

The quickest way to fill a TBR is from the recommendations you've already saved as screenshots. Upload them, check the matches, and send the books to TBR or any shelf. You can also bring in a StoryGraph to-read list from its export file.

No pressure to read it all

There are no reading goals, streaks or reminders. A long TBR isn't a backlog to clear. It's a list of books you were curious about, and you can keep adding to it.
